Waterstone village shopping mall in Somerset West is opposite the Lord Charles Hotel and boasts Woolworths, Pick and Pay, Spur, John Dory’s and a Kentucky Fried Chicken drive thru. At the time of writing they are busy building a new gym and petrol station in addition to the shops in and around the centre. There are some nice speciality stores in the centre including a jewellery store, hobbies and models shop, pet supplies, chemist, clothing and hi-fi shop. The centre is close to the Heldervue area of this region and has become quite a popular place for shoppers in the Helderberg.
Although the Waterstone Village shopping mall is only a few kilometres from the ever popular Somerset Mall it still gets very busy and is gaining in popularity on a daily basis. It seems as though many shoppers are looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the bigger centre on the way to the Strand and are opting to buy groceries or products and spend time at restaurants in this newer and more convenient for some, center. It is certainly most convenient for residents living in the immediate Heldervue region of the Somerset West area.
Kids love the Spur restaurant here as not only does it have the usual video games for the kids to play on but it also has a fun trampoline at the back supervised by friendly staff at the Spur. There are ATM machines for those who need to withdraw cash although there are no physical banks here. There is a bottle store and a chemist for those who need health and medical supplies as well as a clicks selling a wide range of items including beauty products. Parking is plentiful so if you are looking for an alternative shopping centre to visit in this area other than the Somerset Mall, give Waterstone Village shopping mall a look.
